A&A Organic Marketing, Watsonville, Calif., is expanding the organic offerings under its Inka Fresh brand.

A&A Organic expands offerings from South America
The company will be offering organic asparagus, mangos, and avocados under the brand, according to a news release.

The Inka Fresh label was started in 2009 with the company’s second season for organic ginger from Peru, which is available in cartons with a roll of Price Look-Up stickers and logos for the Miami and Los Angeles markets, according to the release.

A&A Organic has Inka Fresh ginger point of sale materials available for the retailers.

The organic Peruvian asparagus is being packed for the Canadian market, according to the company, and organic mangoes and avocados will ship in the early part of 2010 with promotional opportunities for retailers.

The company’s Argentinean asparagus has been shipping since September, according to the release, under the Maragos brand, with production shifting to white and purple garlic in November 2009.

A&A sold the garlic last year under the Maragos label but for this new season will sell garlic under the Guanaco brand, according to the release.

By March, the company said it will offer organic red delicious apples, organic packham and green bartlett pears under the Guanaco label.

hey there, great initiative.

Just wondering, organic asparagus from peru cannot be shipped to the US due to fumigation (which makes it loose its organic condition?
