Steve Oates is director of produce and floral for Sunflower Farmers Market, a Boulder, Colo.-based natural foods grocer with stores in five states. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in produce, having worked for Smitty’s in Phoenix, Reay’s Ranch Market, which was bought by Wild Oats, and then Wild Oats. He is based in Phoenix.

United Fresh Produce Association
Tom Stenzel is President and CEO of the United Fresh Produce Association, a position he has held since 1993. Tom has been recognized often by the produce industry throughout his career, and was honored as the 2002 Produce Man of the Year by The Packer newspaper. He has served in many government and industry leadership positions, including the first U.S. Department of Agriculture Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Produce for Better Health Foundation.

Teri Miller is produce category manager for Food Lion LLC, Salisbury, N.C. She develops and manages produce sales strategy at Food Lion. Teri is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in business. She also has obtained the certifications of Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
