Mann Packing hires senior VP of sales

Mann Packing Co. Inc., Salinas, Calif., hired John Haydock as senior vice president of sales.

Haydock has 30 years of experience in food sales, starting with American Home Food Products in 1980. Since then, he has been with Good Humor-Breyers Ice Cream Company; Vlasic Foods; Horizon Organic, moving to the Whitewave Foods branch when Dean Foods acquired the company, and most recently, Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods.

“John’s customer focus, balanced business experience, years of sales leadership, and very personable style will complement our team well,” Mike Jarrard, president and chief executive officer, said in a news release. “John will be responsible for leading all facets of our sales effort with the rest of the management team and ensure Mann is positioned for growth.”
